What is Arthritis?

What is Arthritis

The word "arthritis" means "joint inflammation." Inflammation is one of the body's natural reactions to disease or injury, and includes swelling, pain, and stiffness. Sometimes this goes away - but sometimes, as in arthritis - the inflammation can last a very long time - or just keep coming back - and eventually it can lead to tissue damage.

A joint is where two or more bones come together, such as the hip or knee. The bones of a joint are covered with a smooth, spongy material called cartilage, which cushions the bones and allows the joint to move without pain. The joint is lined by a thin film of tissue called the synovium. The synovium's lining produces a slippery fluid called synovial fluid that nourishes the joint and helps reduce friction. Strong bands of tissue, called ligaments, connect the bones and help keep the joint stable. Muscles and tendons also support the joints and enable you to move.

With arthritis, an area in or around a joint becomes inflamed, causing pain, stiffness and, sometimes, difficulty moving. There are other types of arthritis that can affect other parts of the body, such as the skin and internal organs.

Arthritis is very common. It has been estimated that as many as 70 million Americans -- or about one in three -- have some form of arthritis or joint pain. It is a major cause of lost work time and serious disability for many people. Osteoarthritis, the most common form, affects more than 20 million Americans. Arthritis affects people of all ages, but is more common in older adults. There are, in fact, more than 100 different types of arthritis, however the most common are osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Osteoarthritis. The cartilage covering the end of the bones gradually wears away. Without the protection of the cartilage, the bones begin to rub against each other and the resulting friction leads to pain and swelling. Osteoarthritis can occur in any joint, but most often affects the hands and weight-bearing joints such as the knee, hip and facet joints (which are in the spine). Osteoarthritis often occurs as the cartilage breaks down, or degenerates, with age or overuse. For this reason, osteoarthritis is sometimes called degenerative joint disease.
Rheumatoid arthritis. This is a long-lasting disease that can affect joints in any part of the body except the lower back and most commonly involves the hands, wrists, and knees. With rheumatoid arthritis, the immune system -- the body's defense system against disease -- mistakenly attacks itself and causes the joint lining to swell. The inflammation then spreads to the surrounding tissues, and can eventually damage cartilage and bone. In extreme cases, rheumatoid arthritis can affect other areas of the body, such as the skin, eyes, lungs, and nerves.
What Causes Arthritis?

There are many different types of arthritis and the cause of most types is not well understood. It's likely that there are many different causes, including both genetics and lifestyle behaviors. However, although the exact cause of arthritis may not be known, there are several risk factors, including:

Age. The risk of developing arthritis, especially osteoarthritis, increases with age.
Gender. In general, arthritis occurs more frequently in women than in men.
Obesity. Being overweight puts extra stress on weight-bearing joints, increasing wear and tear, and increasing the risk of arthritis, especially osteoarthritis.
Work factors. Some jobs that require repetitive movements or heavy lifting can stress the joints and/or cause an injury, which can lead to arthritis, particularly osteoarthritis.
Can Arthritis be Prevented?

It may not be possible to prevent arthritis, but there are steps you can take to reduce your risk of developing the disease and to slow or prevent permanent joint damage.

Maintaining a healthy weight. Excess weight puts strain on your joints.
Exercising. Keeping your muscles strong can help protect and support your joints.
Using joint-protecting devices and techniques at work. Proper lifting and posture can help protect your muscles and joints.
Eating a healthy diet. A well balanced, nutritious diet can help strengthen your bones and muscles.
VitaMist's new & improved ARTHRIFLEX (Product Code: ART)

ArthriFlex is an amazing product that combines incredible bone and joint friendly nutrients.

Glucosamine sulfate is the main component of the new ArthriFlex. On January 21, 2001, MSNBC reported something that is now common knowledge - that the use of glucosamine had benefits for osteoarthritis. The original article appeared in The Lancet, and MSNBC summarized by saying "Previous studies had indicated that glucosamine could dull the pain of arthritis, but experts say the latest study shows for the first time that it could improve the structure of the joints."

This gave credibility and justification for the use of glucosamine for arthritis, leading to the current situation with 1000's of products on the market. But remember, there is no other spray glucosamine, and no other product with all the great benefits that VitaMist has to offer.

Glucosamine has the added benefit that it's completely safe; it's a natural, non-toxic compound; and now, there is mounting evidence that glucosamine not only helps ease joint discomfort but also may help improve the structure of joints.

ArthriFlex also contains chondroitin, which is another natural substance, that, just like glucosamine, is found in and around the cartilage. While glucosamine inhibits inflammation and stimulates cartilage cell growth, chondroitin provides cartilage with strength and resilience.

And now for the real improvement to the product - the addition of MSM! Also known by its full name, methylsulfonylmethane, MSM is, again, a naturally-occurring sulfur compound that is found in our bodies as well as in many common drinks and foods, including milk, coffee, tea and green vegetables. In its purified state,, it is an odorless, essentially tasteless, white, water soluble crystalline solid. It is one of the least toxic substances in known to man. MSM is known to help the proper functioning of various body processes, including helping to give healthy skin, nails and hair. But what makes MSM exceptional for ArthiFlex is its action as an anti-inflammatory, helping with allergies and asthma, digestive disorders, arthritis, muscle soreness and cramps. MSM may even play a role in diabetes, and mood disorders.

Studies have suggested that MSM helps improve joint flexibility, reduce stiffness and swelling, improves circulation, reduce pain associated with arthritis, reduces scar tissue and breaks up calcium deposits that may be associated with arthritis.

The New and Improved ARTHRIFLEX, two great products now combined into ONE Exceptional Product.

Sincerely,

Dr. Clive Spray

Following on from our Wednesday Product Focus Call, here are the key benefits of the mineral - Zinc, as found in our C+Zinc.

As we were discussing on Wednesday, zinc is an essential mineral that is found in every cell in our body. It stimulates the activity of some 80 enzymes (these are substances that promote biochemical reactions in your body). Among its many functions, zinc helps maintain a healthy immune system, is needed for wound healing, helps maintain your sense of taste and smell, and is needed for DNA synthesis. Zinc also supports normal growth and development during pregnancy, childhood, and adolescence, and helps sperm develop and is needed for ovulation and fertilization.

Zinc gluconate can help shorten the length of a cold. Other forms of zinc work well, but if you're trying to prevent a cold, researchers suggest using zinc gluconate.

Zinc deficiency most often happens when its intake is inadequate or it is poorly absorbed, when there are increased losses of zinc from the body, or when the body's requirement for zinc increases. Zinc deficiency manifests as growth retardation, hair loss, diarrhea, delayed maturation and impotence, eye and skin lesions, and loss of appetite.

Weight loss, delayed healing of wounds, taste abnormalities, and mental lethargy can also occur with zinc deficiency. Since many of these symptoms are general and are associated with other medical conditions, do not assume they are due to a zinc deficiency without consulting your doctor.

Risk factors for zinc deficiency include: inadequate caloric intake, alcoholism, and digestive diseases. Vegetarians may need as much as 50% more zinc than non-vegetarians because of the lower absorption of zinc from plant foods, so they need to either have good sources of zinc in their diet or make sure they take supplements.

Maternal zinc deficiency can slow fetal growth. Growth rate improves in children with mild to moderate growth failure and who also have a zinc deficiency when given zinc. Human milk does not have enough zinc for older infants between the ages of 7 months and 12 months, so breast-fed infants of this age should also consume age-appropriate foods containing zinc or be given formula containing zinc or zinc supplementation.

Breastfeeding also may deplete maternal zinc stores because of the greater need for zinc during lactation. So include good sources of zinc in your daily diet if you are breast-feeding.

30% to 50% of alcoholics are zinc deficient. Alcohol decreases the absorption of zinc and increases loss of zinc in urine. Further, many alcoholics do not eat an acceptable variety or amount of food, so their dietary intake of zinc may be inadequate.

Diarrhea causes zinc loss. Those who have had gastrointestinal surgery or who have digestive disorders that result in malabsorption, such as sprue, Crohn's disease and short bowel syndrome, may lack zinc. Again, the VitaMist C+Zinc is the best way to make sure you are getting the zinc you need.

Zinc deficiency compromises your immune system. Zinc is required for the development and activation of T-lymphocytes, a kind of white blood cell that helps fight infection. When zinc supplements are given to individuals with low zinc levels, the numbers of T-cell lymphocytes circulating in the blood increase and the ability of lymphocytes to fight infection improves dramatically.

Some researchers have questioned the effect of iron fortification, to prevent iron-deficiency anemia, on absorption of other nutrients, including zinc. Fortification of foods with iron does not significantly affect zinc absorption. However, large amounts of iron in supplements (greater than 25 mg) may decrease zinc absorption, as can iron in solutions. Taking iron supplements between meals will help decrease its effect on zinc absorption, but caution must be used as the body has a maximum level of daily iron intake before it becomes toxic.

Zinc toxicity has been seen in both acute and chronic forms. Intakes of 150 to 450 mg of zinc per day have been associated with low copper status, altered iron function, reduced immune function, and reduced levels of high-density lipoproteins (the good cholesterol), so be sure to keep your zinc intake below these levels.

Remember, as we discussed on Wednesday, our Core 4 is the foundation of good health and nutrition.

WHY SLEEP?

When you sleep, the body is resting, repairing, and regenerating itself from the stress of life. Proper and adequate sleep can help you regenerate and revitalize yourself each day. This can be considered anti-aging.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

During sleep the body is resting the sympathetic nervous system. The sympathetic nervous system's main activity is during daytime cycles, such as flight or fight responses, increasing heart rate, and so on. During sleep the parasympathetic system is more active. It is involved with digestion, sleep, and other activities that occur primarily during sleep cycles. During sleep your body is regenerating from the stress of daytime activity.

During sleep your body is recovering from the stress of life. Without adequate and proper sleep, you may not fully recover from each day's activities. You may feel fine on a few hours sleep, but this does not mean your body is not stressed by lack of adequate and proper sleep. For example, a smoker usually does not get side effects such as cancer or lung diseases, until they have been smoking 30 years or longer. So if a smoker has been smoking 25 years and still does not have side effects, this does not mean he is healthy despite smoking. The stress of improper sleep may not show up right away, but it is additional stress to the body nevertheless.

Your body has a sleep cycle. A brain chemical called serotonin usually starts off the sleep cycle, leading to the production of the hormone called melatonin. Shortly after melatonin is produced, deep sleep should occur for about 4-5 hours, During deep sleep growth hormone is active and helping to regenerate your body. The last 2-3 hours of sleep are much lighter and involve the cycles of the sexual hormones such as testosterone. The sexual hormone cycles are active about the time you are waking up. Thus based on the body's normal hormonal activity during sleep, you should be averaging about 7-7 and ½ hours of sleep. If you are averaging less sleep then you are limiting the time you are recovering from the stress of life. This can add additional stress to your body each day. Additionally improper and inadequate sleep does not support the primary hormones active while you sleep. The hormones are the chemical messengers of the body and are vital to your health. Stressing vital hormones by improper sleep is not a healthy activity

Stress is what can cause aging, degeneration, breakdown, and death. If you spend many days of your life with improper and inadequate sleep, this is accumulative stress happening each time to your body. This will not help you to regenerate and revitalize yourself each day from the stress of living. IF you are sleeping only a few hours a night consider methods to help you develop deep sleep and adequate refreshing sleep. A starting place might be to read more about VitaMist, and their Amazing Sleep Spray.

Vitamist Core Four

VitaMist's Core Four

With the VitaMist Core Four We have put together the 4 key sprays that fit into everyone's supplementation program.

Multiple

VitaMist® Multiple combines essential vitamins and minerals into one, easy to use, convenient product. Although most nutritionists may still recommend getting your nutrients from a well-balanced diet, it is now generally accepted that this is no longer possible and so all Americans are urged to take a daily multiple vitamin supplement.

Colloidal Minerals
VitaMist Colloidal Minerals provides more than 70 different minerals that originate from pure and natural sources, in each and every dose. VitaMist Colloidal Minerals contains those minerals that we need in minute, or trace, amounts. These minerals can no longer be found in our depleted, nutrient starved soils, but we need them for the optimum functioning of normal cellular processes within the body.

C+Zinc
A healthy immune system is the key to a healthy body, and VitaMist C+Zinc provides two nutrients that are essential for building and maintaining a strong immune system. Vitamin C is a nutrient that the human body is unable to store, so a regular supply must be obtained from our diet and our supplements. The combination of vitamin C with zinc, together with the unique delivery system, makes VitaMist C+Zinc a pivotal member of the Core.

B12
It is impossible to say enough about the importance to the human body of vitamin B12. As a component of the Core - 4, B12 helps provide the essential vitamin B12 everyone needs to stay at their peak. Vitamin B12 is known to be involved in the synthesis of DNA and red blood cells and it is vitally important in maintaining the health of the insulation sheath (myelin sheath) that surrounds nerve cells. Our absorption of vitamin B12 declines markedly with age and many age-related disorders have been attributed to a deficiency of this crucial vitamin

The Power of Folacin

The Importance of FOLACIN

For some reason, folic acid has to be one of the most underrated vitamins around, but it is a key member of the vitamin B complex, and it deserves some respect. Not a month goes by without some report appearing on the benefits of folic acid. Not only that, but recently these reports have stressed the additional benefits of vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 when used in combination with folic acid - just like the combination we have in VitaMist FOLACIN. Many of these articles have associated folic acid with a reduced risk of colon cancer and cardiovascular disease, and, in combination with vitamin B12, folic acid may even have a connection to Alzheimer's disease.

Back in 1992, the US Public Health Service recommended that all women of childbearing age who could potentially become pregnant should take 400 mcg of folic acid every day, either through diet or supplementation. Adequate amounts of folic acid reduce the occurrence of birth defects, such as spina bifida, which affects the spine and spinal cord, and anencephaly, a lethal disorder affecting the brain and skull.

Then in 1996, the FDA, a division of the US Department of Health and Human Services authorized the use on labels and in the labeling of food, including dietary supplements, of health claims on the association between adequate intake of folate and the risk of neural tube birth defects. This was followed in 1997 by mandatory addition of folic acid to all enriched cereal grains.

Perhaps the most exciting development has been the relationship between homocysteine levels (associated with risk factors in heart disease) and folic acid, vitamin B6, and vitamin B12. For example, a report in the Journal of the American Medical Association concluded that intake of folic acid and vitamin B6 may be important in the prevention of coronary heart disease among women. The evidence is so strong that the American Heart Association has issued an advisory suggesting that those with a history of heart disease make sure that they consume the RDA of vitamin B6, vitamin B12, and folic acid.

Is there a downside? NO! All the current evidence suggests that there is no danger of consuming too much folic acid.

The ingredients (per 8 sprays):
Folic Acid 800 mcg 200% DV
Vitamin B6 4 mg 200% DV
Vitamin B12 6 mcg 100% DV

These ingredients are blended with bioflavonoids extracted from rose hips along with a delicious peppermint-orange flavor.

Colloidal Minerals

VitaMist® Colloidal Minerals provides more than 70 minerals in each dose. As preferred by nutritionists, these minerals are taken from natural plant sources, not from compounded mineral salts. Included in this blend are all of the minor, or trace, minerals essential for proper composition of bones and blood and for maintenance of normal cellular functions.

On a daily basis, our bodies require more than 100 milligrams of major minerals and less than 100 milligrams of minor minerals. Provided in a natural balance to maintain physiological levels, colloidal minerals help prevent deficiency diseases and provide protection against degenerative diseases.

More than seventy minerals, only eight sprays a day. Efficiency like this is hard to match, yet easy to find - VitaMist® Colloidal Minerals.

Product Info

•More than 70 different trace minerals in a single spray
•Minerals are required to ensure proper functioning of all the enzyme systems that make our bodies work
•Modern farming practices have depleted the soil of many of these minerals

ARE YOU STRESSED??

Are you STRESSED?

Do you feel run-down and tired all the time? Do you find there are never enough hours in the day? You have deadlines to meet, children to raise, pressure from your job, ... it all adds up to - STRESS

It's well known that when the body suffers stress, crucial nutrients and vitamins are rapidly depleted. That's why taking vitamins in times of stress helps to ensure that minimal harm is caused to the body.

People who have poor nutritional intake and suffer a great deal of stress will almost certainly succumb to diseases due to a compromised immune system.

When under stress, your body needs a range of B vitamins - these are what are known as the B-complex vitamins, which includes such things as vitamin B6, B12, folic acid, and so on.
Studies have shown that people who suffer a lot of stress tend to have lower levels of these vitamins in their system...and a deficiency in any of these can actually lead to depression, abnormal nerve function, and irritability.

Vitamins C and E, two well known antixoidants, are also known to be rapidly deleted when the body is enduring stress.

VitaMist® D-Stress contains these important vitamins as well as extracts of herbs known for their calming properties.

The Power of Sleep

The Power of Sleep:
Some doctors consider sleep as the forth key ingredient in health (the other three are nutrition, exercise and relaxation). The trouble is that many people minimize the benefits of sleep and the essential properties it brings to our ability to produce and perform at our top level. Additionally, researchers have found that irregular and disrupted sleep and stress can increase the risk for depression and anxiety.
These problems may also have direct influence over the immune system and increase the risk for heart disease. It is impossible for stressed executives and business owners not to carry their worries and concerns to their sleep and because they can't relax and re-energize throughout the course of the night, they wake up tired and exhausted, unable to focus, further prolonging the negative cycle.
In short: they are stressed out during the course of the day and stressed out during the course of the night.

Don't ever minimize the importance of sleep!

Here are some helpful tips:

1) Go to bed around the same time every night: Creating a healthy habit is of essence. Our circadian cycle is primed to sleep at night. If you were "trained" to sleep at night as a child, it will be easier for you to implement this healthy habit. Sleep habits change during adolescent years and our body requires less sleep as we age. The better habits we create during good times will enable us to be resilient during tough times.

2) Sleep six to eight hours every night: The best sleep times are during the night. Those who hold night jobs usually struggle with other cycle problems, including eating habits or managing stress. You may need to stay awake longer hours because of your job or may be conducting business across continents. Either way, ensure you get good sleep at least 5 out of 7 nights of the week. Although you can catch up over a weekend, nothing beats the good habit of sleeping well every night.

3) Avoid watching television or reading "activating" programs, books or magazines at night: Avoid reading or watching any material that would keep your mind going. Instead, try "light" reading as you transition to bed.

4) VitaMist Sleep: The perfect help - no "hung-over" feeling in the morning; no habit-forming drugs. Just calming and relaxing natural ingredients.

DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE BENEFITS OF VITAMIN B12?

Vitamin B12 is available in several supplement forms, both oral and injectable. Cyanocobalamin is the main synthetic form and has a cyanide molecule attached.

Many people associate vitamin B12 as a way to increase their energy level; and they’re absolutely right about this. B12 injections or Vitamist B12 Oral sprays are used by some people as a general tonic and many people report feelings of increased energy within minutes of spraying or injections.
However, vitamin B12 is much more important for us than just the increased energy levels. Vitamin B12 therapy is also used to treat Alzheimer’s disease, childhood asthma in those sensitive to sulfites, insomnia, diabetic neuropathy, some psychiatric disorders including depression, and some forms of dermatitis. Ask your doctor about vitamin B12 and have them look up in the Physicians desk reference about how Vitamist Oral absorption can benefit you in the absorption process of this vitamin.

Vitamin B12, which is also known as cobalamin, was the last B vitamin to be identified. It is water soluble. The average adult body contains 2-5 mg of vitamin B12, with 80% of this stored in the liver.

WHAT IT DOES IN THE BODY…

Metabolism: Vitamin B12 is essential for metabolism of fats and carbohydrates and the synthesis of proteins. Vitamin B12 is also essential for the transport and storage of folate in cells and for conversion to its active form.

Brain and Nervous System: Vitamin B12 is involved in the manufacture of the myelin sheath, a fatty layer which insulates nerves. It is also essential in the formation of neurotransmitters.

Blood Cells: The manufacture and normal functioning of blood cells requires vitamin B12.

Genetic Material: Vitamin B12 is necessary for the production of nucleic acids, which make up DNA, the genetic material of the cell.

Elderly People (including over age 35)
As the body stores vitamin B12, symptoms of deficiency can take up to four to five years of poor dietary intake or lack of intrinsic factor production to appear. Deficiency is more commonly linked to the inability to absorb the vitamin due to lack of intrinsic factor than to insufficient dietary intake.
People who are most risk of vitamin B12 deficiency include those with gastrointestinal disorders, autoimmune disorders, Type I diabetes mellitus and thyroid disorders, and those receiving long-term therapy with gastric acid inhibitors. Vitamin B12 deficiency is more common in elderly than in younger people.

Blood:
Vitamin B12 deficiency causes pernicious anemia with symptoms of tiredness, pallor, lightheadedness, breathlessness, headache and irritability.

Immune System:
Vitamin B12 deficiency leads to reduced numbers of white blood cells which causes increased susceptibility to infection.

Brain and Nervous System:
Vitamin B12 deficiency eventually leads to deterioration in mental functioning, to neurological damage and to a number of psychological disturbances including memory loss, disorientation, dementia, moodiness, confusion and delusions. Alzheimer’s disease sufferers are often found to have low vitamin B12 levels, although it is unclear whether these are a contributing factor or a result of the disease.
Vitamin B12 deficiency leads to a loss of nerve-insulating myelin which begins at the peripheral nerves and eventually moves up to the spine causing decreased reflexes, abnormal gait, weakness, fatigue, poor vision and impaired touch or pain sensation. Other signs include tingling or loss of sensations and weakness in hands and feet, and diminished sensitivity to vibration and position sense.

Gastrointestinal System:
Vitamin B12 deficiency causes poor cell formation in the digestive tract and leads to nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, poor absorption of food, soreness of the mouth and tongue, and diarrhea.

Heart Disease:
Vitamin B12 deficiency may lead to increased levels of an amino acid called homocysteine, which has been linked to an increased risk of heart disease.

Other Symptoms:
Vitamin B12 is involved in production of the genetic material of the cell and deficiency may cause defective production which could lead to cancer. A 1997 Australian study found that low levels of vitamin B12 could contribute to chromosome damage in white blood cells. Low levels of Vitamin B12 may also contribute to diabetic neuropathy, poor vision, recurrent yeast infections and infertility. Vitamin B12 affects bone cells, and deficiency may be a risk factor for osteoporosis.

For years, millions of us have taken pills to supplement our nutritional needs, to cure a headache or the flu, thus creating a ritual of gulping them down with a glass of water, leaving a chalky taste in your mouth, or even having them get caught in your throat. No matter the size or shape, whether gel caps or coated tablets, it's not an easy task.
There is now a revolutionary way to take your vitamins, minerals and other nutritional supplements - through oral spray.
Oral sprays are the fastest, most effective and convenient way to get a daily dose of vitamins, minerals and other nutritional supplements.
Think about how many people you know who do not take vitamins simply because they can not or do not like to swallow pills. That loss could have a negative effect on one's health.

A Phoenix in Phoenix

A Phoenix in Phoenix
One man’s dream that turned into a family’s dedication is now, today, becoming a cause for so many around the world.

VitaMist was invented by the late Joseph A. Deihl, a man with a dream. He stuck with his dream, and watched it become a reality with the opening of Mayor Pharmaceutical Laboratories, the only spray vitamin manufacturer in the world.

Over the years Joe Deihl has been called many things, from a snake oil salesman, to a motivator, inventor, and genius. There is no denying his true genius. He took the purest vitamins, minerals, and herbs, and put them into liquid form. This liquid was then sprayed directly into the mouth, thus allowing buccal and sublingual absorption to occur by utilizing all the absorption sites in the mouth, not just a small selection. This contrasts with products that rely upon a single absorption site.

With this invention, Joseph Deihl had developed the highest form of non-medical delivery device in the world. It represents the hi-tech way to take your vitamins. This invention was a spray vitamin (named VitaMist) for which he was awarded both US and International Patents. The discovery was more than 20 years before its time, because only today has technology finally caught up with the development of spray insulin, spray nitroglycerin, spray flu vaccine, and spray antibiotics, just to name a few.

As a result of his efforts in developing VitaMist and establishing multiple worldwide Patents, Joseph Deihl was awarded The Congressional Medal Of Freedom, the highest award a civilian can receive from the United States Congress.

Why hasn’t this invention taken over the world of nutrition until now? It is, after all, a better way to take your vitamins, a better mousetrap, if you will. The answer is timing; we live in a pill oriented society. Or rather, it would probably be better to say “it WAS a pill oriented society”. We are going through a paradigm shift as we speak.

The history of VitaMist is like a roller coaster, frequently looking like the ride was coming to an end, and never more so than when Joseph Deihl passed away at the beginning of 2006. Just as the story of the Phoenix rising from the ashes, so is the story of Mayor Pharmaceutical Laboratories and VitaMist, starting to rise as a new and stronger bird under the leadership of VitaMist President, William M. Deihl, the son of Joseph Deihl. “We have made a commitment to make VitaMist a Billion Dollar a year business in the next 5 years.”-William Deihl.

VitaMist is conducting a leadership search around the country and the world. Pill companies and other critics of VitaMist are now being shown that this is a company based on true science and innovation, not to mention true grit.

Mayor Pharmaceutical Laboratories and VitaMist are located in a 16,000 square foot facility.

Some of the major accomplishments of Mayor Pharmaceutical Labs and VitaMist include…

Overuse & Abuse

"Every year, your family probably faces its share of colds, sore throats, and viruses. When you visit your doctor for these illnesses, do you automatically expect a prescription for antibiotics?

Many, if not most, Americans do!! And they are surprised, maybe even angry, if they leave the doctor's office empty-handed..... after all, you want to get well as quickly as possible, don't you, and antibiotics are the answer, right?
